November Trustees Meeting

The Trustees meeting agrees to fund two new projects totalling £2600 with others in process of review.

November
Out of the blue an anonymous donation to Wilmslow Wells via CAF for a generous sum.  Heartfelt thanks to that person – you know who you are!  This comes at a time of year when there are no major fund raising events planned and will fund new projects  in the months ahead.

November Barndance
Raised £780 – thanks as ever to Brendan Morrison and Haycorn for donating their services completely free of charge.

November AGM
AGM attended by over 40 people addressed by John Nattrass of Uganda Development Services and Martin and Bobby Britnell from Hands up 4 Uganda.

October Souperday
Best ever Souperday raised £1,765.  New Christmas card goes on sale in Wimslow Library and Autumn Newsletter ready.

July Trustees Meeting
Trustees meeting agrees four new projects costing nearly £14,000.

 June Gardens Day
Another successful Gardens Day and a record sum raised too £11,500.  Some new gardens and some new visitors.

June
Joyce McClure died in June.   We will remember Joyce fondly for her generosity and ever cheerful, positive attitude. Her (substantial) farmhouse lentil soup was always one of the most popular flavours at our Souperdays. We thank Arthur for nominating WWA to receive the donations made at Joyce’s funeral.

 April  Quiz Night
Quiz Night at the URC raised £1,035.
